Hi my friends! Lot of time using Ubergrid, it rocks!! But now I upgraded Wordpress to 4.6 and it seems your theme is not 100% compatible. When going down the page, and loading new ‘boxes’/’stories’ it doesn’t draw well the boxes … some collapses in top of others… Thanks.

Hello, In Front Page Manager, before updating we could insert any page by typing page name in “add post” . Now that I updated the last version, “add post” do not find my event post (TriveEvent plugin) anymore, whereas old event posts are still in the front page…sooooooo baaaaad, events are very important on www.wisesound.fr …

ReplyDeleteHi there – I’ve been using this theme for the past year. It works well for our purposes. Although retina-size images displays correctly on desktops, it seems much lower quality versions of images are displayed on smartphones when the responsive design applies (I think when width is smaller than 700px). This happens with both featured images and secondary images. Is there anything I can do to change this behaviour? Will using a plugin like WP Retina 2X help? Thanks for your assistance.

In general, correct images should be used but the problem may arise in responsive view if grid box is stretched to full width (or close enough). Then box is much larger then the image and it can result in pixelated images. If this is the case then it can be solved with a simple CSS tweak and there should be no need for a 3rd party plugin.

On my homepage, my grid was full width and now there is a massive blue space to the right of the grid images. How can I get this back to how it was?

ReplyDeleteI want to add an animated .gif as an post image. I add it as an secondary image and it is animated on the featured site. But after clicking on it, it is an static one. The picture have a size of 695px. When I click on the archive I got the post with the full size, also animated. Why it didn’t work when I want read the article?

ReplyDeletewhen you use secondary image (which is used only for grid layout) the image is displayed as uploaded. But on single post (or page) page featured image is used.
WordPress creates smaller versions of each image when is uploaded and such smaller image is used on single post page. My guess is that animated gif doesn’t play well with the way WP resizes images.
If you would like to use original uploaded image on single post page you could make a small template file modification. In particular you should edit single.php file and change marked “thumb-single” to “full” ( http://prnt.sc/cx58et ) and see how that goes.
