  3. Does ANYONE know how to make the “Large Gallery” and “Gallery and Lightbox” look like the demo? This is the only aspect of the theme I can’t figure out and it’s driving me crazy. Thanks!

  5. Hi Im very interesting in your theme but before I buy I always try the demos on all browsers and this theme dont show animations on Firefox is there a fix or is a Firefox problem and wont work…Thanks

    Best regards

  6. Hi there,

thank you for your interest in the theme!

Regarding the issue you mention, the animations should be working perfectly in Firefox, as well as all other modern browsers. They certainly work on our end.

Perhaps you are running an outdated version of Firefox? Can you please forward me the version you are running and on which platform/OS?

    Thank you!

    Sincerely,

  7. Hello – I’d like to buy this theme but before I do, I’d like to check that I can change one thing about it. When you hover over the home page ‘door boxes’ that open, a white vertical line shows in the centre – would it be possible to close this gap with a tweak or keep the white break but stop the door bouncing in and out from the centre? Thank you!

  8. Hey there,

might I ask which browser are you using when viewing the site, and which version of it as well?

    Thanks!

    Sincerely,

  9. That’s a good call, I used Safari and haven’t updated it at home in a while so maybe that is the problem. I’ll update it later and let you know if the bounce is gone. Upgrading may help with the build anyway! Thank you!

  10. Hi there,

just so you know, depending on the version you use, there are probably no updates available, as Apple has dropped support for Safari on Windows several years ago. If you’re using another OS though, then it’s a completely different story, but you should probably move away from Safari if you’re on Windows OS.

  11. Hey do you bundle a visual composer? If so which one is included? I don’t like working with shortcodes and text.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hi there,

I am against the practice of bundling such plugins into themes because they should be two separate entities, which is why the Tao theme doesn’t come with VC integrated in it.

Just yesterday, there was a big problem with visual composer where it didn’t work with the new version of WordPress (4.5): https://forums.envato.com/t/wordpress-v4-5-and-visual-composer-compatibility-update/44319 This wouldn’t be a problem normally as you would just update the plugin quickly to resolve the issue, but when the plugin is bundled with the theme, you depend on the theme developer to update the theme/plugin, and that can take time, leaving you with a broken site.

  19. Hello,
why does support not include theme customization?
If not You, so who else can be helpful by the customisation of a theme that made by YOU?
In this case there is no sence in the theme support!
    Regards

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi there,

most if not all theme shops don’t offer code customization free of charge (for anything more than a simple one or two lines of code), and that’s the case with themes on Envato as well. It is clearly stated on every item’s support tab that customization services are not included out of the box.

Freelancers are there to help you with the customization of any theme you have in mind. However, even though a freelancer can modify any theme you can give them, it is best done so by the author of the theme itself, as he/she is the one who wrote the code. As such, I also offer paid customization services for my themes, so if you are interested, please contact me over my profile page.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Sincerely,

  21. Hi, I´ve been having this problem since I bought the plugin but I couldn´t ask for help before because I had a life changing situation, and now is when I finally can get into this again. My support time has expired, but now I´m on a very difficult situation because I´m living in Venezuela and it´s impossible for me to get dollars on a credit card to renew support.

The main problem is that when there is an embeded soundcloud player on the site, when I rolloever the mose on the player, the white background of the site dissapears and the grey background displays in the hole screen.

I think this must be a bug, and it might be easily fixed. Maybe a good soul will be kind enogh to help me or give me a hint on what to do to solve the issue.

    This is the url: http://federicoblank.com/

I´d really appreciate your helo on this one.

    Thanks

  22. Hi Federico,

this doesn’t happen in any of the browsers I tested. Please make sure you are using a modern browser, and you shouldn’t see this issue happening.

    Good luck!
