Hi im trying to setup the Gallery Style 2 page. Im abit stuck in that i can’t find where to change the pictures. do i have to build it fresh from in Rev Slider, if so how do i get the Gallery part of Revslider, as the copy that comes with the theme doesnt allow me to register with my code.
ReplyDeleteIve also noticed on some pages talking about the soap theme that there should be a section in the Soap settings that allows me to adjust pictures but in mine there isnt …..hence the whole confusion.
Hi, Galleries in Soap pull featured images from posts, to update the image you need to update your post feature images. Galleries have nothing to do with Rev Slider. You don’t need to register Rev Slider as it is bundled with the theme and unnecessary.

ReplyDeletei got it figured out. My next question would be on that same ‘Gallery style 2’ page, ide like to have a description under each of the ‘Catagories’ in the list on the left hand side.
in the ‘catagories’ section you can enter a description but in the same page it does say “its not prominent by default for all themes”
Where do i go to change that, so I CAN have it show on the Gallery Style 2 page? Maybe have the description in ‘accordian’ format so only showing when clicked on.
The other issue im having is, how to prevent the title “autoadding” itself in the main content…is there a way to stop that?

ReplyDeleteThanks for a great theme. I was wondering if you would consider making team members in the team page backend sortable via drag and drop. I know this functionality might seem a bit narrow, but drag-able team members would make updating teams with many, rotating members much easier.
If this isn’t in the works for Soap, I’d be grateful for any suggestions on how to get this done myself via a plugin. If I was able to find a way to do this, I’d be happy to share my code with you. Or maybe an existing plugin would do the job?

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. We currently do not have any plans to add this but if enough people request this functionality we will definitely consider adding it in a future update. I’m afraid I’m not familiar with any plugins that will add this functionality to our theme.

ReplyDeleteHi, I find it hard to believe that our theme should be responsible for your security breach. Our theme has been tested and approved by Envato. Envato contacts authors when critical security vulnerabilities are found and security updates are required (like the XSS vulnerability in 2015). After the initial approval Envato does not require ongoing testing with Theme Check. Probably more than 90% of the themes on ThemeForest will raise flags if run though the latest version of Theme Check. Prompted by your comment I have however reviewed the flags raised by ThemeCheck and none of them are critical. In regards to your security breach we would very much like to see what documentation you have that you think implicates our theme. Please send us an email through the email form on our profile page and include any documentation regarding your security breach including server logs etc. Also please make sure to include the URL this is regarding. Thanks.
