Campus | Premium Multipurpose WordPress Theme is the best new theme for education and business. We Based on our new Super Skeleton 2 Framework; Over 6 months in the making, we’ve re-coded our entire “Super Skeleton” framework from the ground up to leverage the best, cleanest, fastest features that WordPress has to offer.

Latest Update: March 12th, 2017
Version 3.2.2 Now Available
Check out the update log provided below for more information.

Quite simply, this is the best, easiest, most flexible theme that we have ever created (and we’ve been doing this for 5 years)... and it’s the foundation for what we truly believe will be some amazing websites by you guys & gals!

To celebrate our new Super Skeleton 2 Framework, we’re unrolling a brand new theme options panel that’s unlike anything we’ve released to date. Gone are the cumbersome, complex options of the past – The new SS2 theme panel features simple visual cues, nested inline documentation, and the option to preload one of our hand-crafted skins, or build your own using our professional Skin Builder.

The entire Google Fonts library is embedded as well… you can even preview the fonts LIVE in the admin panel before selecting them.

Also gone are the 20+ page templates that we used to use. Why? Because with the new Drag & Drop Layout Builder, you won’t need them anymore… a veritable world of possibilities is at your fingertips with just ONE template. No more memorizing which template does what… What you see is, literally, what you get.

That’s all fine and well… but what we’re really geeked out about is that it’s all based on rock solid, compliant SEO friendly code that passes every “WordPress Theme Review” test that we could throw at it.

Let’s dig in, shall we?

    4. Hi syedqadry,

      Thanks for the question. Looks like the option needs to be updated. I’ll add this to my update notes, but for now you can do this with a quick snippet. Try adding this to Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS:

      #section-tophat * {
      color: #afafaf !important;
      }

      and swap #afafaf with a hex color of your own:

      Let me know if that helps!

    14. Hi historiador81,

      First, check out this article to clarify some things: Premium Plugins FAQ: Do I need a license code? Need the latest version? Support?

      So, with the included version (via a developers license on our end) – we are including the plugin – and this does not need to be “activated” to use it as it is used in the demo.

      From there, if you are trying to used their premium templates – the ones included with their standard license are included in the theme-download-package. Navigate to Campus WP\Resources\Sliders\example-zips folder to find all of their included slider demos.

      Then, you have two ways to import these:

      01 – Navigate to Revolution Slider > Import > Browse > Navigate to Campus WP\Resources\Sliders\example-zips folder and select the example zip that you want (this is the same process for importing the demo sliders, the only difference is the folder/zip that you’re uploading).

      02 – Navigate to Revolution Slider > Add Slider Template > Select the Slider Template that you want to use > Import Slider from Local > Browse > Navigate to Campus WP\Resources\Sliders\example-zips folder and select the example zip that matches the one you’ve selected.

      Let me know if you still have any questions not covered here or in that article.

      Cheers!Charlie

    16. Hi , I followed all the steps but does not work , when importing long runs and then displays an error . Any other alternative? Thank you

      Hi historiador81,

      There are several variables that could be contributing here and without some additional information, I’m pretty limited in how I can help.

      First, you’ll want to confirm these Standard Troubleshooting Steps.

      From there, Which part are you having issues with? Do you have a walkthrough for me so that I can attempt to replicate this on my end?

      If you’re still having issues, I’ll may need you to file a support request with some additional details so that can help out:

      File a Support Request

      Beyond that, if you’re having technical issues with this plugin – you may want to reach out to them for additional/technical help. I am still happy to help you out with how this is being used/advertised in the theme. For more information on theme-included-plugin support, check out:

    19. Hi, I have been trying to submit a ticket through the support site however it keeps telling me my product purchase code is not valid however I just purchased this theme about a week ago and i am copying and pasting the code so not sure why the error. Anyway,I am very new at website design and have been fumbling my way through learning not only your great theme but WordPress in general. Alot to learn still so forgive me if this is a simple question & solution. Receiving this message when I go to edit the tab settings on one of demo pages: [You are using outdated element, it is deprecated since version 4.6.]

      ReplyDelete
    20. Hi frantzlaroche,

      Thanks for the question and the heads up on the ticket issue. I just ran through their troubleshooting steps to fix this for my account – so let me know if you’re still having issues with filling a ticket.

      As for the notification that you’re seeing, it looks like Visual Composer has deprecated this module in favor of a new one (with the same name). Thanks for the heads up on this. Unfortunately, I can’t control if VC rolls out depredations like this – but I’m happy to do what’s needed on my end to support these types of changes.

      Thankfully, from what I can tell, the only markup change in the shortcode are the shortcode names. For example, vc_tabs is now vc_tta_tabs and vc_tab is now vc_tta_section. Swapping those maintains the original tabbed content/structure – but since they’ve altered the output, our theme styles are no longer linked to them (which is what I’ll be rolling out in the next update).

      For now, you should be able to continue using the original/deprecated module until I roll out the next update (I just tested it out and it is still supported for the time being). From there, when the update is ready – you’ll want to update the theme along with this module (swapping out the old names with the new ones) or you can simply rebuild the module > and dragging the content from the old to the new tabs module.

      Let me know if that helps,
      Charlie

    21. Thanks for the answer, Charlie. I’ll go ahead and use it as-is and when it comes time to updating and all I’m sure I’ll be in touch with you…if I haven’t gotten a hang of this yet.

    22. Hi frantzlaroche,

      Just wanted to let you know that Visual Composer ended up rolling out an update that fixes/updates this automatically. I’ll be rolling this latest version of VC (4.12.1) out in a theme update today (1.3.3).

      You can always check out the latest version at the top of the product page and see the changes in the Update Log

      Cheers,

    23. Page title font size changed? Not sure how but the size of the page title has changed to very small and I am unable to find where to revert it back to the original size. Nothing that I did. I have tried various css mods to change it back but nothing is working. Thanks.

      ReplyDelete
    24. Hi rmhweb,

      Thanks for the question. If you’re trying to get the styles back to the original theme styles:

      01 – First I would try running through these Standard Troubleshooting Steps. Updating the theme, removing any custom css that you might have added since installing the theme and deactivating any non-theme-included plugins will reduce the number of possible influences at play here.

      02 – From there, I would navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Typography and manage the typography option for this element here.

      Beyond that, I would need a link to diagnose this further, but my guess is that there was a change made (maybe recently, maybe not) – but didn’t see it because of a caching issue (either via server cache or browser cache). Again, this is just speculation since I don’t have enough information to offer a concrete answer and because it’s unlikely that element changed without some type of influence.

      Let me know if that helps and keep me posted if you’d like me to take a closer look.

      Cheers!Charlie

    25. Thank you for your help. here is the link to one of the pages. As you can see the title is very small. (Grades 7 – 12 Announcements). I have since tried to alter via css but to no avail. I have no idea how it got so small. It was fine the other day.

      http://algomawolves.org/index.php/schools/algoma-high-school/algoma-high-school-daily-announcements/

      I have tried it in the Appearance > Theme Options > Typography area but nothing changes it.

      ReplyDelete
    26. Thanks for the link. Try adding this snippet to Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS:

      .page-title, .page-title span {
      font-size: 24px;
      }

      If that doesn’t work, you might try forcing the point value for the rule like this:

      .page-title, .page-title span {
      font-size: 24px !important;
      }

    28. Hello:
      We have “Version: 3.1.2.4” of the CAMPUS theme installed, we got it over a year ago, but it’s not updated, how do we get the updated version of the theme?

      ReplyDelete
    29. Hi lesley_smith,

      If you purchased the theme, then you can download the latest available version/update via your ThemeForest Account > Downloads – assuming you have access to the account that made the purchase

      ReplyDelete
    30. Jeez! We don’t have access, a former employee had made this purchase. Is there anyway else to verify/get the update?

      ReplyDelete
    31. I’m really sorry to hear that! I wish I had the ability to do this, but all account management, purchase verification, etc. are handled by Envato/ThemeForest – not authors. In this situation, I recommend opening up a support request with them here. Let me know if that helps!

    32. want to design a website for the high school. I need to do the following: 1- Calendar Event. 2- Staff log in to upload the student reports individually. 3- Student Login to see their report individuality. 4- Fill Application online. Which themes would you recommend me.
      Thank you

      ReplyDelete
    33. Hi alyaalnaimi,

      Between Polytechnic and Campus, I’d recommend Polytechnic because it supports Events (The Events Calendar plugin) out of the box. I plan on updating Campus with that capability at some point, but Polytechnic will do this without any alterations. Polytechnic also has a White Label login that you can customize.

      From there, you’ll need to decide what Learning Management System that you want to go with regardless of the theme you choose.

      Polytechnic offers two supported Course options out of the box with Polytechnic

      - A free option (Polytechnic Courses) which is included with the theme and provides all of the basics for offering courses online.

      - And a paid option (Sensei) that offers more advanced features like selling your courses as products (via WooCommerce), taking payment, managing user registration, quizzes, lessons, etc.

      These can both be view in the demo (and to be clear, these are two separate options) – so click the image below to get an idea of how these are organized in the demo.

      If you want to include course information as public, so all visitors can access any course at any time, then the included Polytechnic Course plugin should work just fine
      If you want to sell your courses (via WooCommerce), maintain a database of learners and grades, or even manage payment/registration, then I recommend using the Sensei plugin.

      If you have any additional questions regarding the Sensei LMS, I recommend checking out their page and even shooting their support team a couple of questions to see if they can help out: http://www.woothemes.com/products/Sensei/

    34. I can view items on media library or upload media. I had to do change to default theme to upload media just now. I keep seeing this string(2) “on” string(3) “Yes” each time a page is loadin

      ReplyDelete
    35. Hi Im_a_MARVEL,

      01 – Can or Can’t? I don’t have any other reports of issues or limitations with the media library or uploading media and can’t seem to replicate this on my end. My recommendation would be to run through these Standard Troubleshooting Steps to see if that clears this up for you.

      From there, if you are still having issues – I’d need the ability to walkthrough and replicate this to be able to offer any support in terms of a possible bug from the theme.

      02 – Thanks for the heads up on this. This will be rolled out in the next update today. I’ll update you here after it’s done/available.

    54. Hi there, can you tell me please do I need to renew the campus licence every year to keep the bundled plugins working? I was prompted to update and re-purchase Visual Composer which I have done but not your theme. Although, now that I’ve bought VC I can’t seem to update the new version. I would be happy to re-purchase your theme if that’s what’s needed, shame I’ve already spent $45 on the plugin. I’d appreciate some feedback, I’ve been confused with this issue for a few weeks now . We use your theme for our school site, it’s great but would like to have the full capacity.

      Hope to hear from you
