I’ve used a image widget to put some images into the homepage widget areas. They show fine on my screen, however when someone on a screen with lower resolution visits the site, everything looks huge. Including some of the text and images in the slider.
How can I avoid this? Shouldn’t all images and text be responsive?

ReplyDeleteVery disappointed with this theme. Even more upset with Themeforest for allowing it to be posted and sold with so many issues that, according to this support forum, have be unresolved for over a year. The events section does not work like it’s suppose to. The developers say they are working on it since this time last year. Heck, the events template isn’t even spelled correctly. It says, “Evetns” Sloppy. My mobile them only works half the time even with the WP mobile detector. So many things are broken and the documentation is so basic. Sigh. Really wish for a refund or credit for a fully working theme.

ReplyDeleteThere is a major security risk with the Rev Slider plugin contained in this theme. My website has been hacked using malicious scripts that found their way in through Rev Slider.
ReplyDeletePlease update the theme to include the latest secure version of Rev Slider!!! Our website is currently down because we can’t use the theme in its current state. This is costing us a lot of money.

They are available in the Events Posts. Also I’ve submitted a ticket on 4/17 and 4/14 and haven’t gotten a solution. Please advise what my next steps should be to fix this issue.

ReplyDeleteI have purchased your theme and most is working well. Is there any way to remove the Author information on a page? We don’t want the page author to show up at all. – top OR bottom of the page.
ReplyDeleteI should clarify – I know how to turn off the Author box at the bottom of the page but the text at the top just below the page title still remains and we would like that to not be there. (ie. [icon] admin October 26, 2012 )

Have you tried the option available in post settings settings section “Show / Hide Author Box”?
yes – this only removes the Author box at the bottom of the page – the top author information still remains. Here is our demo building site sample that shows the issue <http://istrial.com/nefcs/about-us/>

The only way to remove author information is to directly delete the following code from page.php file line # 43.

okay. I was hoping there would be CSS for that so that future updates wouldn’t restore this. Having Author etc… on regular pages, not only blog pages seems odd to me.

The theme supplied area on the homepage to post the most recent blog posts is not posting the actual most recent posts, there is one missing. I cannot find anywhere to edit the settings for what this section is pulling from.

ReplyDeleteI am wondering how I would go about ordering the upcoming events for the Category Archives.
Basically, right now the category archive events are ordered by post_date when they should be ordered by the meta field event_start.
The events are loading using the upcoming.php file.
What’s the best way for me to have the upcoming events load in order of their start dates?
