  1. Hi there,

    Great theme!

    Is there a way to make the theme to be responsive only on smartphone?
    Such that on tablets, it looks like the full site design?

    Looking forward to your great assistance.

  2. Hello justinash79, thanks a lot

    The solution you are looking for:

    Step 1) Navigate to the header.php file and delete line 33

    Step 2) Navigate to the shared.js file and add this code at line 3:

    if ( jQuery(window).width() < 600 ) {
    jQuery(‘title’).after(’<meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width” />’);
    }

  3. Thank you for the great assistance! It worked like a charm =)

  4. Excellent, you’re welcome

  5. Hi,

    There is a way to set a minimum width for the theme?

    Thank you so much, again!

    Regards,
    Gerard

  6. Hi Gerard,
    I’m not exactly sure if I’ve understood you correctly, but this could possibly be the solution:

    body {
    min-width: 1000px;
    }

    Just paste the code into the “Custom CSS” panel under the “Theme Options”.

  7. Hello, is there a way to add a sidebar to the standard pages? As is, I only see a sidebar for the blog page. Thanks in advance for you help!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hello sarahgraceblack, yes this is feasible by using the built in page builder.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Thank you for the quick response, this is exactly what I need! And holy awesomeness, love the draggable columns!

  10. Thank you, I’m glad to hear that

  11. Hello,

    We need help with this theme:
    http://cercis.cl/bm/

    The responsive is not working very well with this tables, what is the problem? how to fix it?

    ReplyDelete
  12. When anyone posts a comment to a post — the post Author always shows as “admin”. The poster’s icon is correct — but the Author name and link is stuck on Admin.

    Any thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  13. This appears to be limited to the Projects page (comments recorded on Projects pages)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hello cscottgilbert, thank you for identifying the problem. You can send me a private message with your email, so I can send you the fixed file. Another option would be to use the official support forum (http://themestack.ticksy.com) and open a ticket. Nevertheless I’m going to push out an official, updated version later this day.

  15. URGENT !!!

    Hello.
    I want to know.

    How to reproduce the topic: Why Choose Destiny?
    Page : http://www.theme-stack.com/themes/destiny/

    What widget?

    URGENT Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hello maymeric,
    first you have to use the “Black Studio TinyMCE” widget.
    Inside the widget you need to click on the ‘Destiny Shortcodes’ symbol, which opens the shortcodes menu, where you can select the “Accordion” shortcode.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hello,
    Great theme! I have two questions.

    1. How do I disable the menu from keep staying at the top when a page is scrolled down?

    2. The ‘Destiny Shortcodes’ doesn’t respond within the ‘Black Studio TinyMCE’. When I click on the Destiny icon, nothing happens. Same thing happens when I try to change to H1, H2, etc.

    Cheers!

  18. Hello RowanD, thanks for the comment

    1. Unfortunately this requires some changes at the theme’s core and isn’t very easy to achieve.

    2. Sometimes a 3rd-party plugin will break this functionality.

    Please create a private ticket at the support forum (http://themestack.ticksy.com ) if the problems cannot be solved.

    Cheers.

  19. Hello. In your demo, there is content in the dark gray footer area (contact, tag cloud, flicker feed, etc), but when I place widgets to the footer widget area in the dashboard, they don’t appear on the site. How do I achieve content in the footer like displayed in the demo. Thanks in advance!

  20. Hello sarahgraceblack,
    normally it should work just like you have described it.
    Have a look at this screenshot: http://www.theme-stack.com/docs/destiny/assets/images/get-started/assign-widgets.png
    If you’re still facing this issue, please create a support ticket at the official support forum at http://themestack.ticksy.com Thank you.

    Hey fantastic theme, one question. The revolution slider images, in some demos I see the height is 350px http://www.theme-stack.com/raw/destiny/ and then in your original version showcased here http://www.theme-stack.com/themes/destiny/ its about 550px. I basically want to be able to showcase maximum image at 550px or more. thanks

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey EnchantingEventDesigns, much appreciated The included slider template (‘home_slider.txt’) should be 550px high, which can be found in the ‘imports’ folder. Here’s a short guidance how you can import it: http://www.theme-stack.com/docs/destiny/get-started.html#revolution-slider. You can adjust the slider height by navigating to the Revolution Slider menu (on the bottom left) and then select ‘Edit Slider’ for a specific slider. I’ve attached a screenshot for you: http://www.theme-stack.com/cdn/destiny/edit_slider.png

  23. I believe the Destiny Contact Form widget has a bug in the update function. I’m using version 1.3 of Destiny. The update() function does not actually update the widget values when used in the sidebar.

    The correct function should look like this (see lines 108-120 of destiny/includes/widgets/contact-form.php):

    function update( $new_instance, $old_instance ) {
    $instance = $old_instance;
    if ( isset( $new_instance['title'] ) ) {
    strip_tags( $instance['title'] = $new_instance['title'] );
    }
    if ( isset( $new_instance['contact_form'] ) ) {
    strip_tags( $instance['contact_form'] = $new_instance['contact_form'] );
    }
    return $instance;
    }

    Best,
    Peter

  24. Hi Peter, thank you for your comment. I’ll look into it.

  25. Just installed the theme, for some reason the demo content won’t import which in itself is not the end of the world, just inconvenient.

    Main issue is that the sliders are not appearing in the edit page area, even the imported one.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Duncan

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey Duncan, another customer had a similar slider problem. Please make sure that your folder structure looks like this: ‘wp-content/themes/destiny’. Hmm, thats really weird, I’ve just tested importing the demo content – works fine on my end. If you’re still encountering the same issues please open a ticket at: http://themestack.ticksy.com or send me a private message with the credentials of a temporary demo account for your site.

  27. Another suggestion: Can you check your MySQL database if a table named ‘wp_revslider_sliders’ exists?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I’ve got dxv_revslider_settings does the table have to be prefixed with wp?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Exactly, the 3 tables required by the Revolution Slider are:

    1) wp_revslider_settings

    2) wp_revslider_sliders

    3) wp_revslider_slides

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ok, that’s resolved the slider issue. Just need to make sure that WP is installed with wp_ as the table prefix. Import still isn’t working but I can live without that. Thanks for the help.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I’m glad I could help, thank your for letting me know

    ReplyDelete
  32. As of now all support for Destiny will be handled via the comment section.

  33. Hello. I am experiencing a bug with the layer slider. I have 4 slides total, 3 are graphic elements and 1 is a video. The video slide is in second in the cycling rotation. The video is set to pause to allow the user the option of playing it. When the user presses play, the slides continue to cycle, despite the video not completing. Additionally, the audio from the video continues to play while the slides continue to cycle. Thank you in advance!
