ReplyDeleteWe don’t have any plans on adding WooCommerce to this theme. Currently we don’t have many requests for this. You can add in support for any theme though relatively easily by following the WooCommerce documentation:

Hi, I have few quick questions before buying:

1) Yeah, you can easily post youtube videos as the amin video on the homepage.

Hi, I have come across a issue when playing youtube video on homepage slider. I realised when you switch between videos all videos continue playing unless you stop them manually. Howver this is not the case when playing vimeo videos. Can you please comment on this. Thanks

Hi, I would like to buy your theme, but I need to know is there any possibility to add a radio content; my client has an interviews in TV but also she speaks in radio and I need to add some icon with sound wave and play icon. Do you have some sounds plugin which is built-in your theme or could you recommend some plugin which will work with the theme?

ReplyDeleteYeah, there are static pages under “Pages’ in the menu. Here is an example: http://solar.progressionstudios.com/full-width/ If you wanted additional page content other than those demoed, you can install a shortcode plugin or page builder. Any popular shortcode/page builders will work with our theme.

ReplyDeleteChanging the footer text can be done in the Theme Options. You can adjust the navigation under Navigation > Menus if you want a menu at the bottom.
You mean I can change the Copyright text in Theme Option (or there is something more)? Actually I would like to add here also the box with social icons. Do I need to built it or there is some ready widget?

Yeah, you can adjust the copyright text in the theme options. The navigation can be adjusted in the Navigation Menus area. If you want icons or something else in that spot, you will need to customize it. Feel free to post in the forums if you need help with that. We are happy to point you in the right direction:

Hi, just to let you know there is a little omission in /solar/style.css #1160.

Should be -> background-image:url(royalslider/skins/preloaders/preloader-white.gif);
Note the missing “L” in “royalsider”

Hi, there is another little style thing. If you use a square logo, the subtitle “Just another Wordpress site” will go over the logo on mobile devices.
ReplyDeleteMaybe as a future upgrade: It is actualy not possible to use it as a child theme since most of includes breaks off.

ReplyDeleteGreat Theme – One Problem, the Homepage slider, under the video title and date reads “Sample Excerpt Tada!” on every single slide. And there does not seem to be an area to update this? I have added text to each post, which should replace the Tada! text, but it isn’t. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteCheck out the documentation under “Post Formats (Video/Gallery/etc.)”. The first section under that heading shows you how to turn excerpts on/off and edit them.

Can you please tell me if it is possible to have the homepage style box with list to the left and video to the right on all other sections also as in under Art, education, sports, etc, instead of the layout for those pages? Second question is also if it is possible to have like galleries, or blog in this list instead of just videos? Thank you!
ReplyDelete1) You can re-use the homepage slider layout on other pages. You select which category gets pulled into the slider and which get pulled into the list below.

Can i used m3u8 streams in this theme?
ReplyDeleteYou can play any video or audio with the Solar Theme. The theme has a meta box that allows you to input any embed code. So if you want to stream m3u8, you would need to make sure a player supports this. If you want to use the default WordPress Player, then check to ensure it supports this format. There is not a player built-in to Solar so it is up to whatever play you choose to play this format.

ReplyDeleteLooked at a bunch of themes. Really love this one. Can I change the layout of the home page? I want to remove recent posts, and achieves and the ad button but add in categories on the front page. I’m using the theme for a videographer and he wants to make it easy for his clients to see work that’s similar to what they are interested in.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you can easily remove the “Latest Videos” from the homepage. If you want to add content in that area that is possible. In terms of categories it depends on the layout you want to use. A basic list of categories with links is simple.

Also would like to add a page where the customers can get custom quotes on new video projects. Can you recommend a plug-in for that that would work well with your theme?
ReplyDeleteWe already have contact form support built-in. The form builder allows you to easily add/remove fields and create unlimited forms. This would make it very easy to create a page and allow clients to contact you for custom quotes.
