Travelo - Responsive Booking Wordpress Theme
Travelo is a Responsive wordpress theme made for tourism purposes.
Build on a clean design, and in a good thought functionality Travelo can be your best choice if you have a Travel Company but you don’t have an online payment service available.
Travelo is a simple product which makes possible the User to book an offer by writing personal details, which will be approved/declined from the agent of the tour company. The main importance is on the filter, which can categorize your offers for better search results.

We have created a custom searching plugin which works based on filters, to give your costumers quickly a good list of results.

The offers work as custom posts, independent from the blog, they have several different spaces for content.

.po and .mo files are included on the package, for translation purposes.
Booking System
Simple system integrated for booking purposes only. (no payments). Travelo itself it’s built for small agencies who don’t use payment gateways as a form of transferring finances.
5 Sliders
Travelo contains a featured tour slider on the homepage, a latest tour slider on homepage and a gallery tour slider inside the custom post. Also short code slider like Revolution Slider and Skitter Slider.
Sidebar
Travelo makes it possible for you tho choose between the sidebar or no sidebar for blog, or other default templates. Also ti can be positioned on both sides (right and left).
Reviews
The wordpress comments are adapted to be used as reviews, this makes possible for your costumers to write comments/words based on their experience with your company.
Ratings
You can rate your tours/offers according to their exclusivity 1 to 5 stars. But the rating is also possible on reviews, where costumers can rate a tour/offer based on their experience.
Attributes

Short codes
We have included on Travelo several useful short codes as blockquote, headings, columns, tabs, accordions, buttons, sliders etc.
Booking Form Builder
Make a unique booking form according to your needs. Add as many fields as you want by choosing them as mandatory or not.

Travelo has a good and detailed manual of use for its features and modules, which is going to be very helpful to build your site.

Hi, recently I have purchased the theme and I am very happy with my choice. for the start, i have a problem using the map. I put the address or name of the place and it doesn’t recognise it. is there any instruction that I can read and see what I do wrong? or would you please help me with the issue?

ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t appear that you have purchased the theme… At least themeforest says that you didn’t.
If you have bought the theme from another account then please register with that same username(case-sensitive) and the purchase code of that user.
Otherwise we can’t give you support if you don’t verify your purchase.
Sorry to walk you through this but this is our only protection against piracy.

Text can be added only as comments so, users can give their experience through comment in that tour but they can not add any images

Hi. I want to build a travel website . I need the users to register on the page and to tell their travel experiences through text and photos . They can publish the places they visit . You could do need some plugin or to cover such functionality . Thank you

I do not know any plugin that will make this functionality possible but as I searched I found some of them but you need to try them and check if they do the trick

Hello, i would like to buy the theme, but i would like to know if it’s possible to receive payments in a booking step and then redirect to the booking confirmation page. Is there a plugin in to do this? Which one is it?

ReplyDeleteTravelo theme does not have any build in payment system. You can use “PayPal Buy Now Button” plugin which gives you an option to pay and return to any specific page. But you should keep in mind that plugin does not require the booking form to be filled and can’t change the price dynamically.

Hi I’m looking to achieve an hourly marketplace with 4 services, including a search + booking system that pulls search results from Opening Hours entered by new signups and removes them from search results when already booked for time + date, very similar to the search + booking system used on Hassle.com. Can your theme be adapted to achieve this or can you advise what plugins might be used to achieve this system? Any help greatly appreciated.

ReplyDeleteThe theme pulls search results from the category and from custom taxonomies that you can create.
In your case you want to pull request with attributes like time and date.
You can achieve that but you need to hire a developer to customize the hole theme because your needs are specific.
Probably the best way is to start and build a web app from scratch for your needs

Is the installation simple? Can I use affiliate programs for companies? Example: Booking.com Affiliates?

ReplyDeleteYes it is simple to set up the theme, also the theme it is well documented http://documentation.umbrella.al/travelo-documentation/ and it will be very helpful through the set up.
Also we can help with that! About the booking.com affiliate, by default it is not compatible and you probably need to customize it. We didn’t test that but as we read in their website https://www.booking.com/affiliate-program/v2/index.html it seemed easy to incorporate in the web site.

1 – is it possible to add XML hotel search in the theme
2 – is it possible to make more than a single tour inside the page , i mean like a trip to paris 4 stars price hotel for $100 and the 5 stars hotel for $200 , or it works with single price for each tour .
3 – do the slider in mainpage take the tours you choose from , or i need to make a slider from step one with every photo like a separate one .
4 – if possible can i have a demo for admin page to give it a try before purchasing

2. Inside a single tour you can put only one price, so you should create for each of them a single tour,
3. Yes there are two types of sliders, one of them it is created by tours the other one you can use the Revolution Slider,

ReplyDeleteYou can add extra attributes that work like categories for the search result and for the booking you can add extra fields like text, number, phone etc.
