    We have downloaded the latest MJ Cart and installed the Quickstart version. When I place products to the existing (demo) categories all products are shown. But if I create a new category and assign products to that there are no products in that on the front-end. In the back-end I can see the links between categories and the assigned products.
    I did not upgrade Joomla and/or VM, just used the contents of the Quickstart unchanged.
    All products are set to be Available to all shopping groups. Stock management is turned off.
    Any ideas? Can you please test in your environment if the products are shown if you create a new category?

    You have to create menu and assign your VM category in this menu item to get data on front-end side.

    Do I really need to do this manually? Why does Featured categories work for the “built-in” (demo) categories? What is the difference between the demo categories and the manually added ones? I hope there is a way to handle the category structure automatically instead of adding newly created categories to the menu one by one. I do appreciate your kind help. Thanks.

    Yes,You have to create menu.In our demo we also create menu for different categories.

    I feel that I have lost a basic feature in the latest mj cart what I could use without any problems in the previous version.
    Please let us know once you have a solution for this very frustrating, show stopper issue. I guess I am not the only one who would like to use the Category based product listing seamlessly.

    One more thing to add: after switching to the bulit-in Protostar template the products have appeared under the linked categories.

    I forgot to mention that this Featured category bug belongs clearly to MJ Cart template. If I change the template to anothe one the products appear under their categories.

    go to your directory > templates > mj-cart > html > com_virtuemart > virtuemart > default_products.php

    Featured tab Display on Featured product.
    -> Product display which added to featured product.
    To add product into featured product
    -> select product tab and on Features option is active.

    Latest tab Display on new product.

    Display product in this tab which added by you at last (display all last added products)
    -> setup product on display go to > configuration > Shopfront > product listing .

    Best seller tab Display on new product.


    Best seller displays those products which is most sold put on your store
