Hi there, can I add more colour options for menu buttons ( ‘Menu Item Style’ ) within the navigation bar? At the moment all I can see is ‘Accent Color and Extra Color #1’. Thanks!

Hi, I’m really interested in buying this theme for my online store, it looks awesome. There are only 4 small things I cant see and would like to know if the functionality is available in the CMS.
ReplyDelete1. A dropdown on the single product display that allows the user to select either small, medium, large or extra large etc. for products like t-shirts.
2. An option to display shipping costs at checkout
3. An option to do an EFT as a payment method
4. How does the user select credit card payment if they don’t have PayPaL?

Hi, I’ve just updated my theme and i cannot now fine the ‘Page Header Overlay Color’ which i’ve set on all my page header images. This option seems to have completely disappeared? I’ve checked on my other website and it is there as an option so I know I’m not going mad. Has it been moved somewhere else?! Thanks

I’ve read repeatedly that Salient doesn’t support video backgrounds on mobile because “mobile devices don’t support autoplaying videos.” This is demonstrably false. For example: https://www.pchscuba.com/trips/

ReplyDeleteThat explanation you read was true in the time of writing – Salient has offered video BG support since iOS7, and the ability to allow them to autoplay on mobile was just added in iOS10. You can read about it here: https://webkit.org/blog/6784/new-video-policies-for-ios/

FYI, it’s been available on iOS 10 Chrome54 and iOS 10 Safari 602 and iOS Opera Mini 14 and Android Chrome 54 and Android Firefox 49 since November of last year (9 months).

Hey there. I have a few quick questions. Can the secondary menu have custom links on left AND right (instead of social icons)?
ReplyDeleteWhen using the header option where logo sits left, nav centered and search to the right, can a full searcher replace the magnifying glass?
If I have a 5-column footer setup and want the 4th column to be blank, is this possible or will it auto-collapse to a 4-column layout? I want one full column of space… similar to have theme forest has their footer setup. Scroll down a bit to see what I mean.
I’ve been using Salient for a few years now (because I love it) but I also own the Avada theme. It can do the things I’m asking about but I’d much rather stick with Salient. It’s like trying to escape Apple’s ecosystem when you own all their products lol.

It is a bit slow, is it possible you can switch to SCSS in future big update? And also optimize the performance of css and JS files I am using WP Super Cache and JS minify plugin, it improved from 50 to 60 in google pagespeed. But its still slow
