Flix is a community and power blogging theme for WordPress. With BuddyPress support included into the the theme you can start your own community in no time. But BuddyPress and bbPress are only two of many superb features of this theme. With our SmartTab system, you can put your authors in the spotlight. Easily order the front page by posts from a specific author a specific category without reloading the page. This team blogging feature is perfect for both small and big blogs that have multiple contributors!

Flix is Flexible

Take a look at the preview and check out the different homepage variations! They show only a small part of what is possible and should give you an idea on how flexible Flex for WordPress is. Need a BuddyPress (also supports version 1.7) driven site that looks nothing like a blog? No Problem! Need a bbPress WordPress theme for a small company or agency? No Problem! Flix is the most versatile theme from Bebel to date.

We Fix Flix – Support

BuddyPress, bbPress and WordPress in general have some twists and etches. But don’t worry. We are here to help. Our new forum is your place for help related to Flix and our other WordPress themes.
Did I already mention the support files we have to offer? Well, we are talking 16 help videos and a big online documentation which is available as PDF as well!

Flix is Responsive

We don’t even want to call this a feature because it’s just the most obvious thing to do: Flix is fully responsive! It looks great on your desktop, great on your tablet and of course – it looks stunning on your mobile device too. Don’t take our word for it. Just try to resize your browser and see how Flix responds! (You might have to deactivate the ThemeForest Frame first!)

Flix has a Backend

Every premium WordPress theme needs a backbone. Ours is the incredibly convenient admin interface. It’s easy to understand, easy to navigate and nice to look at ;-) (oh, and you can even brand the backend with your own logo and image to resell this theme to a client!)

Flix is a Whitelabel WordPress Solution

As mentioned before – this BuddyPress theme is white label enabled, meaning you can easily add your own logos, colors and images. We even give you the possibility to change the name of the theme though a nice interface! If you are in the business of reselling WordPress, this is your theme!

Flix is a Marketing Theme

Online marketing is all about social and E-Mail newsletter. With our MailChimp integration, collecting addresses and sending beautiful html newsletter is a breeze. We even have included an awesome HTML template for Mailchimp.

  1. Hello to you, all customers!
Where could I edit the excerpt text within the blogs? Can someone, another buyer, help me? I don’t know where to find and edit the excerpt text within the blogs. In fact, in the blog form, I don’t have the “Excerpt” line which could allow me to insert any text. Probably I must make some settings or add some codes but I need your help, please, please, please.

  3. I like the look of this theme and I’m considering a purchase, but the demo doesn’t seem to be displaying properly in Safari and iOS. None of the styling seems to be working in Safari at all, and the responsive menu in iOS appears for a second during loading and then vanishes. If I then continue to the next page using the numeric page links at the bottom, I can then see the menu, but it’s partially blocked by a black bar.

  5. Oh no!! Thank god I read the comments. Thank you SMOSSNER for the heads up that this theme DOES NOT WORK in Safari! (It’s not calling the CSS AT ALL on any of the home pages… works fine in firefox, so I nearly bought it without checking other browsers!)
    ...
What a shame. It was otherwise my top choice for a theme. The fact the authors have not responded to SMOSSNER’s comment a full 14 days ago does not bode well for support for a faulty theme.

Sad. I was looking forward to using this theme.

  6. I’ve had a dig around, seems safari doesn’t like certain kinds of paths to css, that otherwise work in other browsers… my question is, is there something about the way that these css files are called in the demo that would be otherwise different in the theme hosted on our own servers and installations? It’s calling css from the cloud here, surely that would not be the case locally? Is it therefore possible that this theme would work on safari on a local install? $63 is a lot to pay on a guess, if it then doesn’t work. I’d be very happy to pay it for the working theme though. Please let me know asap.
    Cheers, Kathryn.

  7. Hey,

as stated above, the site now works just fine. It was an error with our caching plugin.

    Merci again!Bebel

  9. Hey there,

wow, we have totally missed the comment above! What a shame!

Indeed, the theme works just fine in safari! It was only our caching plugin that went crazy. I have fixed it now, the page shows up totally fine now

Thanks a ton for pushing this issue up once again. Must have been slipped through the first time!

  10. Probably an obvious question, but, you show no sample posts with video. I assume it would be simple to include a video (Vimeo or YouTube) with a post instead of a featured image? Would any coding need to be done to make this possible?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hey,

by default you can not add videos instead of featured images. You would have to do some custom coding there.

It is however possible to add some videos anywhere else

  12. Also, on new droid phones the site navigation disappears completely in portrait view. I have a new Droid turbo and when I view your website with it there is no website navigation being shown whatsoever when the phone is in portrait. Can you please tell me if this will be fixed soon?

    Thanks.

  13. Hey,

I have no android device at hand at the moment and it looks fine on iPhones. Hopefully I will get my hands on such a device in the coming weeks and can fix the issue, once I can confirm and understand it.

Thanks for telling us about it!

  16. Is this compatible with the multiuser part of wordpress ? Can the fronpage contain the latest posts from all across the blog network when I host multiple user blogs ?

    Thanks

  17. Hey,

unfortunately this is not possible. The front page only gathers posts of the site it’s being installed on.

  18. Hello Bebel,

    Check, Please : http://support.thebebel.com/members/akpa/messages/view/186/
This request about article excerpts is more than 7 months and I still have no answer. and do not know how to handle these excerpts, edit, view or delete them.

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey,

sorry about that. We disabled private messages a while back due to some bugs – thats probably the reason we missed your message!

Enabling excerpts is actually pretty straight forward. When writing a new post, you see in the top right corner a button called “screen options”. Click on it, and set a checkbox next to “Excerpt” – and somewhere below the text field you will see a new box where you can enter it.

Cheers and sorry for the huge delay!Bebel

  20. very bad support . With serious problems in many parts of the template. It is very expensive and the author does not even respond

  21. Hey Emilio,

we are very sorry how the support turned out. Due to various reasons the support was lacking in the past few days.

We are looking into the issues as of now and got back to you in the forums now.

    Thanks,
    Bebel

  22. I owned Blogga, was a huge fan. Is there a full screen width for the content option? It looks like it’s a defined width for the content area.
