Flame Admin: Good looking, intuitive, smart and responsive interface that uses modern technologies for appearance, animation and functionality.

Months of coding, testing and careful tweaking have made Flame one of the most comprehensive and unique interfaces available.

Still developing, Flame Admin will continue to be refined and added to, making it better with each update.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome and will play a big part in shaping Flame Admin in the future.

Update v1.1 – Many people asked for a light color scheme. This update brings just that, and you can see it at http://flame.novalx.com/light/ .

The plan was to create an easy on the eyes, user friendly and intuitive interface that makes good use of recent HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery code. No compromises. But over time it became more than that.
It became a powerful, smart interface with a lot of custom jQuery functions tailored especially for it, to ensure full integration with the design. It became a package with almost any element and style a developer would need to forget about the front-end and focus on the back-end (giggity).

Main Features

  • 3 different login pages to choose from

  • beautiful and responsive design that will look good on most screen sizes

  • dark and light color schemes

  • organized and well written code

  • smart and powerful jquery engine

  • all elements and plugins are fully integrated into the design

  • icon fonts enable very easy icon customization like color and shadows, look good in any size and reduce load times and network usage

  • LESS is used to make the css code more easily manageable and also provides other useful features

  • The jquery code was written with both simplicity and functionality in mind, and to require as little html markup as possible

Supported browsers

To best view Flame Admin you will need at least Firefox 18.0 or Chrome 24.0.
IE 9, IE10, Opera and Safari also work.
If you use Safari 6, please make sure you are redirected to http://flame.novalx.com/alt-grid/ , because it doesn’t get along with the CSS calc() grid and will crash after login otherwise.

Support

The documentation included should answer most questions, but I am happy to help you with any other support questions, feedback or suggestions you may have.

Update History

  • v1.1 – added light color scheme, fixed input validation adding multiple error icons for the same input

  • v1.0 – initial release

  1. Hi Noalex, I’m having issues trying to view the dashboard.html page on all iOS devices. It just crashes the browser.. It’s working on the preview site however using the downloaded files its crashing.. I’ve tried re-uploading the files multiple times with no luck.

    Can you please help with this would love to use this amazing template

  2. Hi, thanks for purchasing!

    Safari has some issues with the CSS calc() property, which is used for calculating the grid sizes. You’ll have to use the alternative core file for Safari, available under Extended compatibility/alt-core.css (rename it to core.css and replace the existing one).

    If you have other questions, please send me an email.

  4. Hello,
    I tested your solution to run the template in iOS devices and Safari browser. the browser does not crash but the display of the dashboard is very different from how you saw before the change made. What do you recommend to do to risolver andthe problem?

    greetings
    Riccardo

  5. Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks for purchasing! The difference you see is because the grid changes from calc() sizes, which Safari has trouble with, to percentages. It’s the only way to work on Safari without crashing, so there isn’t any solution to make it look like it does with the calc() grid.

  6. Hi, I am trying to implement this template on a site that I am working on. I have opened up the dashboard HTML file, and verified that it works in IE and Chrome. However, I have noticed that if you change the zoom (i.e. 150% in IE and Chrome), the orientation of the elements changes.

    For instance at 100% (on my 1920×1080 screen), the automatic backup widget is located on the far right of the first row. However, at 150% the automatic backup widget becomes the second widget on the first row.

    Also, at different zooms, some of the elements are not spaced properly. For instance, if you only have the automatic backup widget on the page, then zoom to 150% (you have to refresh the page after zooming.) At that zoom, all of the elements are all jumbled up.

    How do you fix and or disable this? In other words, is it possible to prevent the redimensioning of the page?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hi, thanks for purchasing!

    The issue you are having is due to the fact that some boxes and elements have a min-width set. That’s why at certain zoom amounts elements move down or get jumbled up. A page refresh usually fixes any layout problems, but there is no way to disable browser zoom, except on mobile.

  8. Hi novalex,

    How to change wizard height?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi, thanks for purchasing!

    To change the wizard height, remove class “row4” from the #wizard element, then set it to the wanted height. Also set the height on #wizard-body, which should be 79px less than the #wizard height. That’s it, let me know if you run into any more problems.

  11. Hi,

    I have implemented the iOS crash issue, however when viewing my project (and your demo) on my iPhone only the ‘Dashboard’ menu item shows, meaning I cannot navigate around the site. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thank-you.

  12. Hi,This is not a bug, click the dashboard icon and the menu will display.
    Cheers!

  13. novalex,

    This is the website of my product: http://www.pointbad.net/br/

    I’m not satisfied with the look of it, because the forum (www.pointbad.net/forum) and customer panel (www.pointbad.net/panel) have a different look (dark).

    How much do you charge to create a template similar to the current one, but with the same look and UI elements of “Flame”?

    Thanks.

  16. I just purchased this one.
    It’s look incompatible with jQuery 2. Can you update it to compatible with jQuery2?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hi, thanks for purchasing!

    All the custom jquery code in this template is completely compatible with jQuery 2.0. Some plugins, however, are not. The masked input plugin inside inputs.js will have to be removed or the error it throws will stop the rest of the code executing. Also, glDatePicker, CLEditor and the Flot Pie plugins will stop working due to the $.browser option being removed from jQ 2.0.

  21. Hi,
    I’m running into and issue with the transformed select inputs inside of a scroll div. I’d expect the select to overlay the bottom of the scroll box, but it sits inside the scrollbox and forces you to scroll to see the options. Any advice on how to fix.
    Thanks,
    Lance

  23. Hi! The template is very beautiful and would be perfect for my project. But there are many issues that need to be solved before use it in production.
    The menu doesn’t work well on any IE version. If you click over the icon, nothing happens. Also the checkbox style looks bad on the same browsers.
    Do you plan for an update? Could you help me to solve those issues?

    I want to add another icons in FlameIcons. How can i do this please help me. Thanks…

  29. Hi, Thanks for purchasing!

    The Flame Icons font was generated with IcoMoon. They have a huge library of font icons to choose from, and you can also import your own icons.

  31. This theme font does not support Turkish characters (e.x: ?, ?, ?, Ç, Ö, Ü) how can I solve this problem?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hi,

    Thanks for purchasing!

    To keep the size down only the basic latin subset was included for the main font, Amble. Here you can select which subset you want (Turkish in your case), download the webfont kit again and replace the font files that came with the theme. They are located inside the res/fonts folder. You will have to rename the new files from Amble-Regular-webfont.xxx and Amble-Bold-webfont.xxx to amble.xxx and amble-bold.xxx, respectively.

    The other font used for headings, Dosis, seems to support the characters out-of-the-box.

    Let me know if i can help with anything else!

  33. Wooww. Nice template.

    I wanna ask you a question. I was cheking your tempate. And i saw that in the

    <span class="label input g4">Multiple select</span>
    <div class="drop select multiple g12">
    <span class="opt-sel">Select one or more options...</span>
    <ul>
    <li class="sel-search no-sel">
    <input type="text" class="inset" placeholder="Enter your search terms">
    </li>
    <li>Tag, you're it!</li>
    <li class="sel-group no-sel">Tag Purgatory</li>
    <li>Get your tags here!</li>
    <li>Personalized tags available at a fee.</li>
    </ul>
    <div class="button black icon delete">X</div>
    <span class="arrow">&</span>
    </div>

    it is look very nice but i couldnt understood how handle selected value(s). There are no form elements in here except input text.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hey,

    Thanks!

    At the moment, there is no form input integration for the select, it needs to be done with jQuery. I can help with that if you want.

  35. What is the application for your user interface. In other words, what scenarios will I need to use your user interface? I ask because I am looking for an interface my clients can login and see details of what I do for them. Thanks for your time.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi,

    Well, it’s hard to say since there are so many kinds of applications for admin panels, so I tried to make it multi-purpose. You can take a look to see if it has what you need. It has the login/registration pages and from what you described, you could show your clients what you do for them in a table, which is included as well.

    Cheers!
