Rocket Board
is a super awesome portfolio Wordpress Theme with METRO style. You can set each thumbnail size as 1×1, 1×2, 2×1 or 2×2 easily. This theme also allow user to set specific colour on each metro box or just use the default colour from admin panel. You can also set the first state of metro box to show as colour box or show as feature image. This theme has 9 predefined background colours and 8 overlay patterns….or if you need to upload your own background image, it’s just fine

ReplyDeleteAs the new rule of Envato, Support will be available only 6 months since purchasing date. This rule applied on 1st Sep 2015 so if you purchased theme before that date, support will be expired on 29th Feb 2016. If you purchase after the start date, just plus six months for it.

We noticed that a user with the username: [removed] and email [removed] was created and showed up in our user database. We don’t know if this was an effect from the demo content or if it could possibly be infected code.

Header logo not updating.
ReplyDeleteThrough the Rocket Board theme options I am trying to update the header logo via Overall Elements > Header/Logo.
I have tried uploading from desktop and using a direct URL link to the logo, but it still displays the Rocket Board logo.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteSure, you can change the testimonial speed by opening the ’\wp-content\themes\rocketboard\javascript\jquery.cycle.js’ file and adding this code at line #1568:
timeout: 8000,
right after this line:
testimonial_carousel.cycle({ fx: 'fade', slideResize: 1, fit: true, width: '100%',
8000 is in milliseconds , so it’s 8 seconds . Default is 4 seconds.
You can change it to any period.

Hi, I tried to post a ticket on your own support but it doesn’t work. Api always asking for permission (enabled), each time I select the theme.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I’m facing a weird issue, I can’t install the theme, I have the white page of death, each time. Even if I do automatic (zip) installation or by upload. Changing folder name or other tweaks, doesn’t work. Could you please tell me if there is another way?

ReplyDeleteThere’re two ways to upload the theme.
1. Upload the zip file via wp backend. With this method, make sure that your server has enough upload size setting in php.ini (You can ask your host provider about this.) This is the recommend value: https://goodlayers.ticksy.com/article/10367/
2. FTP upload, https://goodlayers.ticksy.com/article/9585/
I don’t think this is a theme issue but I think it’s your server issue. (You can try by seeking for free themes and try to upload and see if the same issue happens or not.)

I’ve also checked the server values and they are greater than recommended values.
Is there any option to enable or disable while using FTP upload? I remember maybe something else on this side. I’m using Dreamweaver.

As far as I understand from the demo I can arrange the tiles however I want (I need 3 rows of tiles with 4,2 and 3 columns respectively) which will have static content (will direct to static posts).
But I’m not sure if I can make them look the way I want to. I’d like them to show static picture with text and on hover I want different text and/or image to appear from behind the tile (fade in).
Additionally I would like to have drop-down menu on hover, on top of the page which will turn to bootstrap navbar(or something similar) when view by mobile devices.
Please let me know if I can do what I ask and I will buy the template immediately.
