Hi, is it easy to set my own standard color (and remove the choice option)? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteAll the colors can be changed via css-templates – it’s not so difficult. If you need assistance in that just contact us via our profile page, I’ll send you instructions. As for the color chooser (the choice option) – you just need to disable style changing via admin control panel.
Is there any way to change the “metro” logo at the top of the style to my own forum brand?
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteSure! Go to AdminCP – Styles & Templates – Style Manager – Metro Mobile Blue (Your mobile theme) – Style Variable Editor (dropdown menu to the right) – titleimage. Here you’ll the path to your logo. So you either replace the default logo or add own one and path to it in the field.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIs there any options for activate WYISWYG on mobile theme?
Best Regards
Hello,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, vBulletin mobile themes do not support WYSIWYG in editors.
I have just found out after buying your nice mobile themes that there’s no option to upload photos to the forum via any mobile theme/browser. This is an absolute deal breaker for our users (we’re moving away from tapatalk).
ReplyDeleteI realize that this isn’t caused by your theme, but is there any way to switch my purchase from the mobile version to the desktop version? My users will lynch me if I were to implement a theme with no photo upload ability from their phones.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIf you need to attach images, it seems there is a workaround – http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=317106
But I need to test it first.
As for switching licenses – unfortunately Envato doesn’t allow to do so.
Thank you for the quick reply. That would be fantastic and any additional instruction is welcome. I’m not that advanced in the use of the back-end and the create/copy process would be trial and error without more detail.
ReplyDeleteI’m rather shocked that this hasn’t come up before and from more people. Uploading images is a key part of so many forum/user interactions and the mobile themes are specifically for forum use on the very devices where they’re taking 98% of their photos!
Checking to see if you had any chance to test the photo posting workaround/addition? As expected, now that Tapatalk is gone, I am getting questions from users as to why the mobile-specific themes won’t allow photo posting. I would desperately love to be able to correct this insane oversight by vBulletin.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWe’ve tried an ‘easy way’ but it failed. It seems you need to copy/paste a dozen of templates for it. But some people say even this workaround doesn’t always work. Anyway we’ll need a few days to test it. We are a little busy now and only be able to do it in a week I think.

ReplyDeleteI am sorry but there is an issue with your mobile theme can you share your email support address for sending credentials for fixing ? Thanks !
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletePlease check first if you added the theme as a child theme to the default MOBILE theme as described in the documentation. It’s the most common occasion which causes the theme misfunctions. Anyway you can always contact us via our profile page!
Point 1: In your documentation is DESCRIBED TO NOT INSTALL theme as child theme. So please fix it.
ReplyDeletePoint 2: I did as your suggestion, but theme still not working.
Point 3: i will send through your profile page the credentials access for fixing. thanks
Sure, it’s not supposed to be installed as a child to the vBulletin mobile theme – my bad. But make sure you followed this step from the documentation -
ReplyDeleteUnder the Import Style XML File section, press “Browse”, find your main theme XML-file (Metro-Mobile-Blue.xml). Under the Parent Style section, choose Mobile Styles – No Parent Style (important!). Then import the theme by pressing “Import” button at the bottom without changing any other settings.
And don’t forget to install the Metro Blue first – it’s the core theme file.
Yes i know. I did it, but it still not working. Please write to ivanomino@gmail.com to get access for fixing. thanks
ReplyDeleteSorry your service is not good. You give confused informations. You don’t want to fix your theme bug. Now your theme not working and i need to pay an external developer for that. Please refund money back thanks.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but our theme is OK. It was tested by Themeforest guys before approval. More than 500 people installed it just following the theme documentation and the theme works great. As I told you, either you didn’t install it properly or your forum is misconfigured and none of these are our faults.
ReplyDeleteNobody answer ?? Still waiting bug fixing ! nobody answer since one week !!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteHere’s my answer four days ago – https://themeforest.net/comments/15525286
The theme is working as described, it’s been tested on more than 500 installations and the only reason your copy of the theme may not work – either your forum misconfigured or you installed the theme in a wrong way. So there is nothing to be fixed. If you can’t install or configure the theme yourself, you need to hire a web-developer to do it. If you want, we can install it for you – but it’s a paid service.
WHAT ???? You don’t give good service. 1 star bad rating. Please give refund money back. thanks
