Translations
HairPress is translation-ready with the hairpress.pot file in the subfolder /languages/. But it comes translated to these languages:
- English (default)
- Slovenian (by Primož Cigler)
- Russian (by Igor Karpov)
- Italian (by Nicola Mustone)
- Serbian (by Živadin Katanic)
- Dutch (by Roy Duineveld)
We will be glad to include your translation in the HairPress to any other language if you send it to us (.mo and .po file).

Fonts Used
These two fonts are used in the template from the Google Fonts
Lobster – for the logo in the navbar
PT Sans – for headings and links
Images and Licenses
The images used for the demo page were bought on photodune.net and because of licenses come blurred in the zip file for download and in the demo content.
Built using SASS, Compass and Twitter Bootstrap
The theme is built on top of SASS Twitter Bootstrap front-end framework and uses Compass functions for creating sprite images (good for a performance).

ReplyDeleteI’m trying to use the background link css property selector within WordPress for the image appear on it’s page http://launique.co.uk/services-float/
ReplyDeleteFirst I used the default image link and entered the link to the default image, which I had uploaded to the media library:

That didn’t work.
Then after some research, I created a separate “images” folder within the child themes folder in my cpanel.

But still to no avail…

ReplyDeleteHi, this is CD-Network! I bought the Hairpress Theme, downloaded it and installed it. There is no demo-content and demo-widgets to download, therefore the theme is missing a lot of adjustments, such as team members, and a lot of other things. Please responde, thks.

Thank you, I read through all of it, I watched the video, but in my downloaded files, in the “extra” file, unfortunately, there are no demofiles included! Sorry! Can I download them from anywhere else?
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, it is not possible to change any style.css, as there is no file like this displayed in the editor. It is not possible to change any colour or size of the fonts.
ReplyDeleteIt pretty looks to me, that the .zip package of the hairpress theme is damaged or not complete. Pls try to find a solution or refund the money, as I spend a lot of hours investigating for nothing.

You answer me and tell me to reply on your forum and submit a ticket, what finally failed. I tried to submit the screenshot telling, that there was one single button on the right, after pressing the download startet automatically. I could not choose any other. I spent too much time in this problem so far. Pls give me a chance to solve this problem quick. Forward the missing files or refund the money, I will buy an other theme. Tks.

I tried to import. There are 3 authors, Primož Cigler, Marko Prelec (markoprelec) and Gregor Capuder (gregacapuder). I advised them “admin” role – almost all imports fail. On top, no widgets to import.The style.css opened in the EDITOR only refers to: ALL THE STYLES ARE DEFINED IN ./assets/stylesheets/. But this file doesn’t exist anywhere, Pls reply, thks.

Thanks, first thing I will look up in future, if the desired Theme is out of support or not. Also changing the stlye.css is for me impossible. Anyway. I know what to do in future.
ReplyDeleteHi, You can add custom CSS in the Appearance -> Theme Options -> General. In that case you will not lose your CSS with updates.
