ReplyDeleteHello, I’m very new to wordpress. I saw that, “Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee. ” What do you mean by end users? Like people can’t buy using this site, because we don’t have extended full license?

ReplyDeleteThat’s all Envato’s language. It’s a roundabout way of saying that you can’t resell the theme itself.
Under that you’ll see “This item is licensed 100% GPL.” All of my themes are 100% GPL. The short of that is that I allow you to do whatever you want with the theme just so long as the copyright stays intact. So with that, you could resell it if you wanted, though it wouldn’t be very nice of you.

By the way is it possible to put text on the homepage ?
Is it possible to change the image place for the products?
The plugin cart66 is include with your theme?
On my mobile phone (iphone 6) it’s not really responsive, is it normal?

ReplyDeleteI have an “Affiliate Mode” built into the theme so that the buttons will simply link to wherever you need to link them. There’s no cart or anything for that.
If you don’t fill in the options (text fields in the backend) for the Login and Cart links, they simply won’t show up.
There’s not an option for text on the home page, you’ll need to edit front-page.php if you’d like to do that.
The image placement is either left (as you see now) or right (basically a mirror of what you see now).
Cart66 is not included with the theme. That’s a separate download.
The theme is responsive. For the demo, you need to remove the Demo Bar on top. Going directly here http://themes.designcrumbs.com/haute/ will also work.

ReplyDeleteI’ll put it in my notes to put in space for text, but right now I don’t have any pressing issues or updates coming out for the theme so I won’t have an ETA on getting that done. But, it’s noted!

ReplyDeleteI would like to create an affiliate store with this theme. For product URLs, can they simply be www.mywebsite.com/my-wonderful-product/ or do they have to have a subdirectory like www.mywebsite.com/product/my-wonderful-product/?
This is the case with ecommerce plugins like woocommerce but I wouldn’t be using an ecommerce plugin in this case.
I’d like to know as I’d be converting an existing site to this theme and would ideally like to keep the same URL structure.

The affiliate products use a custom post type named products. You’d have to get a plugin to remove that. I found this one, though I haven’t tested it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-slug-from-custom-post-type/

ReplyDeleteYou’d need to customize the theme to do that. You could add <?php the_title(); ?> to loop-gridproduct.php and it’ll show up, though it may need to be styled a bit.

ReplyDeleteUsing a plugin, you could add ads to the sidebar on every page of the website. There are 3 widgetized sidebars. However, there is no dedicated ad space anywhere else on the theme.
