  1. Bit of a novice with stuff so bare with me The demo site looks amazing, but just want to check I would have to add everything and position it myself, stuff like the blog posts on the right on the demo site would need to be updated by hand etc?

  2. Yes, you would need to update text on the html files as this is an html template (no backoffice).

    Cheers

  3. Thanks, purchased your theme and so far its looking great, I do have a problem though in that when viewing say you preview site on my ipad mini in Safari and Chrome I get a gap at the bottom of the images before the text appears which looks ugly, can you point me to what changes need to be made so that the site works nicely on a smaller screen, I assume it is because the images used in the slider are wider than the res of the device.

  4. Yeah, the template was not intended for mobile. You can easily fix it though, via a simple css media query. If you notice, the slider has a height of 726px. For smaller resolutions you’ll need to lower this value to reduce the gap.

  8. Hey! I am very interested in the template. Is there a way to create a games list and a wish list for each user? Each user should be able to create their own games collection to be seen on the personal page. Thanks so much.

  9. This is an HTML template. The pages you see on the demo are the pages you get. Cheers

  10. Hey! Any chance in getting a update to make it responsive?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hi, I am also expecting to get a responsive version of this. It is highly needed now a days.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hello I purchased this theme and I’m very happy to work with it BUT… I cannot open psd files in design folder… Is it blocked and normal? I’m constantly getting this “unexpected end of file” prompt message while trying opening these files.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey, are you still experiencing this issue? Sounds like a software problem rather than a problem with the files.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi – I’m using GIMP, but this is the first time I have this kind of problem with .psd files… Usually they open just fine (and I must admit usually they’re bigger and still no problem). I reinstalled gimped and download couple times entire package – everything is top notch quality besides these psd files. Could you add them in different format maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Sorry but I can’t help you with that. Even if you did manage to open the files in GIMP all the layer styles would be lost making the file useless. You can always download a Photoshop trial and make the modifications you need.
    Cheers

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well… I guess it’s the end of help from your side. I’m so sorry then that I purchased this theme from you. I can sent you many .psd files that are opening up in GIMP and don’t loose their layers, but it’s easier this way. Some people from envato services could have different opinion. Btw. your advise to download Photoshop trial and use it for something commercially is “shady” at least. Cheers and… thanks for nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well, you are being very rude. What do you want me to do? No one has complained about the files and no where is it stated that GIMP is supported. There’s not much I can do.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I’m sorry if I sounded rude. That wasn’t my intention. I just stated that I can open many psd files with layers without any problem in GIMP. Your seems to have “unexpected end of file”.
No one has ever complained because maybe nobody need to edit your files. I have that need – it’s not rude to want to fully used thing that I purchased. I’m very happy to work with it and your theme is fantastic in many ways – but I want to unlock fully it’s potential (need to change colors) – what’s wrong with that and how that’s rude? It’s like saying: “You’re rude because you want maximum speed in your Porsche but you’re wearing only cheap sneakers.”
You are the author. Who can do anything about it if not you? I can send you psd files working fine with layers etc. I guess the problem is on your side – not mine.

  19. If you are unhappy with your purchase I suggest you ask Envato for a refund. It’s up to them to decide if your reasons are valid or not.
    Cheers

    ReplyDelete
  20. I won’t ask for the refund – I want the AUTHOR to be one and I want you, as an author, to adjust files to help customer. It works with the entire Envato market and with Unity asset store… basically everywhere I’m putting my money in. You promised psd files. Then make ones that I’ll open with my software. I don’t want refund. I want working product. I want solution for my problem with your product. Not my money back.

  21. The files are marked as compatible with Photoshop and they work perfectly fine with Photoshop. I really don’t get what you are trying to accomplish here. The files have been reviewed by Envato before entering the marketplace. I already told you that there’s nothing wrong (other than you trying to use the files on an unsupported software). If you have any further issues please contact Envato.

  22. Thank you for the 2 star rating

    ReplyDelete
  23. Please – do tell me or show where I can find that info that these design files are compatible with Photoshop and Photoshop only (and yeah I DO took the print screens for future reference).
My desire is to force Author (yes, you) to provide Customers a design layered files that will work at all software that can work with layers. I change that rating then to five stars as the concept and the documentation is excellent. Just simply provide the layered version of psd files that will work with GIMP.

  24. I really have no intention to continue to feed this pointless discussion but, for clarity’s sake, I’ll answer your last comment; The design files bundled with the HTML template are a bonus. If you head over to the original PSD template (http://themeforest.net/item/game-devs/3047682) and check the item details, you’ll find: “Graphics Files Included: Photoshop PSD” and “Minimum Adobe CS Version: CS”. Hope this clears out any confusion.

  25. jalberto – you should start with this. I thought that these psd files should work because I bought them. But they were gift from you added to my purchase. Gift is a gift and is always beyond ratings. I’m changing my rating to 5 stars as (I’ve never stated otherwise) your theme design is outstanding. Sorry for taking your time and misunderstanding. You should thing about changing description though to clarify this fact cause more people like me can come and waste your time even more.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Alright, I appreciate it. Hope you enjoy your theme.
    Cheers

  27. What is the best way to add more social media buttons like Pinterest for example?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Any Update on getting a responsive update?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Looks nice on the home page but on the blog and the games page, the window is not big enough to see the full image(s) on the slider. It is probably staring me right in the face but where is this controlled?

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  30. Can you provide me with a link? I can’t understand what your issue is.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Just change the slider height for those pages in the css file (line 210).
